The Prysmian Group was fully formed in 2018. Combining three companies with over 140 years of collective experience. They have roots all the way back to Italy in 1879.
The Prysmian company, having formed in 2005, joined forces with Draka in 2011. The trifecta was finalised in 2018 with the addition of general cable company, an American company with a big history.
The company operates in over 50 countries with over 28k employees.
Throughout its history, the group have supplied cable for some important milestones.
